A patch of sunshine

The twins were glad to get a little break from the interminable time indoors that has just seemed longer and more unbearable with their Mom away at a meeting in Belgium! Today was actually warm enough for having fun outside, and we took advantage of it:

We had a great time at the botanical gardens with their Grandma (Meemaw) and our friend Deb.  We spent some time at the orchid show and then played outdoors.  The twins love to play in the park, and were so happy to be able to run around, pull the grass and throw snowballs. 
 

 

Peekaboo!

They also discovered what will I expect become a new favorite at the Gardens: the Bell Tree, a metal sculpture with low-hanging bells of all sizes for fruit.  That part of the garden was not peaceful while they were enjoying the special tree.
